Summary

We don't require accounts and we don't store the text you translate. Third-party services used for translation, analytics and advertising may process limited technical data as described below.

Text you translate

When you press Translate, the text is sent directly from your browser to the MyMemory translation API (operated by Translated srl) to produce the translation. We do not receive or keep a copy of it. Please don't enter passwords, ID numbers or other sensitive information into any online translator. See MyMemory's documentation for their terms.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are useful. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Advertising

The site is supported by advertising. Third-party ad networks may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and may receive your IP address and browser information. You can limit personalised advertising through your browser's privacy settings or tools such as YourAdChoices.

Text-to-speech

The “listen” buttons use your device's built-in speech synthesis. Depending on your browser, the text may be processed by your operating system or browser vendor's speech service.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the translator will continue to work. If you are in the EEA, UK or California, you may have additional rights to access or delete personal data held by the third parties named above — please contact them directly.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
